The Afghan Hound is a distinguished hound breed known for its thick, fine, silky coat and a tail that curls into a ring at the end. Originating from the cold mountains of Afghanistan, this breed has a local name: Sag-e Tāzī in Dari (سگ تازی) or Tāžī Spay in Pashto (تاژي سپی)
